Our Story
Est. 1985 · 40+ years family-owned
Dennis and Julie Brunner started Concrete Enterprises Inc. in Oklahoma City in 1985. A small crew with high standards grew into a commercial concrete company GCs across Oklahoma still call back.
Dennis earned trust as a straight dealer and a concrete hand. He took on tilt-up, parking garages, stadiums, storm shelters, schools, and other large commercial work across the state.
Heritage
1985
Dennis and Julie Brunner founded Concrete Enterprises in Oklahoma City on careful work and long days.
2007
Jake Brunner moved from superintendent into the office to help run daily operations as the company grew.
2012
Dennis and Julie passed ownership to Jake and Paul. Jake became President. Paul became Vice President.
Today
GCs across Oklahoma know CEI for straight dealing and solid commercial concrete. Jake's children are learning the work as the third generation steps in.
Family Ownership
Concrete Enterprises has been a family business from day one. Jake and Paul Brunner grew up on job sites and learned the trade in the field. Jake joined as a superintendent in his twenties, then moved into the office in 2007 to help run day-to-day work as the company grew.
Away from the office, the Brunners spend time at the lake, play cards, and sit down for meals together. That same loyalty shows up at work. Crews, clients, and partners get treated like people you plan to see again.
Leadership
Our project managers bring 120 combined years of construction management experience, and 13 of our 19 field superintendents have been with CEI for more than 10 years.
President · Since 2012
Jake grew up on CEI job sites, joined as a superintendent in his twenties, and moved into the office in 2007. As President, he runs daily operations, brings in practical new methods, and holds the line on the values his parents set.
Vice President · Since 2012
Paul learned the trade beside Jake on job sites. As Vice President, he helps run CEI with the same commitment, experience, and integrity Dennis and Julie built the company on in 1985.
Next Generation Leadership · Carrying the Brunner name forward
Jake's children are learning the business and the work ethic that has marked Concrete Enterprises since 1985. The family plans to keep serving Oklahoma for a long time.
